OopBuy Returns and Refunds: Windows, Rules and Costs

Check the return window, seller rules, monthly request fees and who pays domestic delivery before relying on a refund or exchange.

Text search runs on ogspreadsheet.com and leave this site. This site does not host the product catalog.

A return is possible only when two conditions are both true: the seller's rules allow a return or exchange for that item, and your request is made inside the warehouse window. Neither condition can be assumed. Check both before you count on a refund.

The window

OopBuy's return notice, read on 4 September 2026, states that the merchant's rules must permit a return or exchange and that the request must be raised within five days of the item arriving at the warehouse. Five days is short. If you are waiting for QC images, open the item record as soon as it shows as received.

That same notice described the first monthly return request as free of a service charge, later requests at 5 RMB, and applicable China domestic delivery as the user's cost. Read the current version for your own order, because fee wording and conditions can change.

The order of operations

  1. Confirm the item is in the warehouse and review the QC images.
  2. Decide whether the difference is visible and describable.
  3. Check whether the seller allows a return or exchange for that item.
  4. Submit the request with the order number, Item ID and the specific reason.
  5. Keep the response and any fee line shown in the account.

What a return does not cover

Warehouse inspection is limited. OopBuy's QC notice, read on 4 September 2026, excludes colour variance, measurement error, wear from use, and electronics function, model or accessories. A claim built on those points usually fails, not because support is unhelpful but because the stated scope never included them.

Fit is also outside it. A garment that matches the ordered size but does not suit you is a sizing decision, not a defect. Use the size guide before ordering to reduce that outcome.

Refunds, cancellations and payment records

Refund timing and method depend on the payment route used and the order state. Read the cancellation and refund terms shown at the time of payment, and keep the order number, payment record and any support thread together. The payments guide explains which lines to compare.

If a payment failed rather than completed, do not retry blindly; check the original attempt first, as described in failed payment.

Before the parcel is submitted

Once an item is packed into an international parcel, the warehouse-level return path is no longer the relevant one. That is why the QC and return steps belong before consolidation, not after. Review warehouse for storage timing and QC photos for the inspection checklist.

A realistic expectation

Returns are a conditional process, not a guarantee. The two things you control are timing and precision: raise the request inside the window, and describe one visible difference with the identifiers attached.
