OopBuy Buying Guide: The Four Stages in Order
The four OopBuy stages in order, what to confirm in each one, and which record to keep so a delay or question can be traced to the right step.

OopBuy splits one purchase into four separate stages: choose the product, place the product order, review the item when it reaches the warehouse, then build and pay for an international parcel. Most confusion comes from mixing those stages, because each one has its own record, its own total and its own deadline.
Stage 1: Choose the product and variant
Search by keyword or image, open more than one candidate and compare the Item ID, images and options. Choose the visual colour or style from the images, and the size from the measurements. Re-check the main image and price after every change.
Keep two references: the Item ID and the option you selected. Without them, a warehouse question later becomes guesswork.
Stage 2: Place the product order in OopBuy
The product order is a purchase inside China. OopBuy's cost notice, read on 4 September 2026, describes the product price as including China domestic delivery, with international shipping charged later and a declaration cost of generally about ¥8; optional value-added services apply only when you select them.
Check the item, option and amount in the OopBuy screen before paying. Payment methods and currency options depend on your region and account, so read the lines shown at checkout rather than a figure copied from a guide.
Stage 3: Warehouse intake and QC
When the item arrives, compare the visible details with the option you ordered: quantity, colour, size label, main design elements and obvious damage. OopBuy's QC notice, read on 4 September 2026, places colour variance, measurement error, wear from use, and electronics function, model or accessories outside its inspection scope, so an image cannot settle those questions.
This is the stage where a visible problem is cheapest to fix, and the return window matters. The returns guide covers the timing and fees, and QC photos explains how to describe a visible difference precisely.
Stage 4: Build the parcel and pay for shipping
Consolidation and packaging change both scale weight and volume. Use the measured values of the packed parcel, not product-page weights, then compare routes on amount, restrictions and displayed transit range together. A dated example: on 4 September 2026 a 5 kg parcel to Czechia showed HF-SAL-CZ-1 at $79.93 regular ($56.47 with the 15% column visible that day) over 45–65 days, against DDF-DHL-CZ-1 at $86.81 ($61.28) over 8–16 days.
Rates, promotions and route availability change. Re-run the current estimator for your own destination before submitting. Details are in OopBuy shipping and the shipping cost method.
Stage 5: Track and raise questions with one identifier
After dispatch, keep the parcel number and the carrier number. Match the question to the stage: product order, warehouse item, parcel, or carrier movement. One message that names the right record gets a faster answer than a general complaint. See tracking and support.
The order to remember
- Compare candidates, not thumbnails.
- Pay for the product order only.
- Check the warehouse item before packing.
- Submit the parcel with measured weight and dimensions.
- Track with the identifier that matches the stalled stage.
